No matter what kind of childhood you had, in wealth or in want, you can probably remember a holiday where you felt extra blessed. Maybe it’s because you had a memorable experience with loved ones, maybe it’s because you swore you heard Santa’s sleigh landing on the roof, maybe it was because of the freshly fallen snow (or in our case here, the perfect beach day), or maybe it was because you finally got that gift you’d always wanted. Those are holiday memories that one holds dear for a lifetime… and we want to be a part of giving memories like that to those who need it most in our area.
That’s why we’re excited to again partner with Toys for Tots in providing a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas. Through donations of new, unwrapped toys to Toys for Tots you are helping to bless a child right here in our own community. Both of our offices (on Anna Maria and in Ellenton) are Toys for Tots collection centers. Stop by our A Paradise Realty office to drop off a toy or mark your calendar for our upcoming Wine Tasting and Tapas Holiday Event!
Join us on Friday, December 7th from 5-8pm at our Island Office, 5201 Gulf Dr, Holmes Beach, FL 34217, where we will be co-hosting with Hurricane Hanks a Wine Tasting and Tapas including good food, live music, and great joy. All we ask is that each guest bring an unwrapped toy for a child. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1.00 each and $5.00 for 6. The lucky winner will receive a YETI filled with lots of “CHEER”. It is going to be a great time gathering with our community to celebrate and give back.
Can’t make the event? Don’t worry, you can stop by our office at any time to drop off a toy and we would love to Thank You in person! Every donation of a toy will be picked up and distributed through several community agencies and civic organizations right here in our own hometown.
