When you hit that point where the thought of a good sandwich would really hit the spot, there’s only one thing to do…call Scott’s Deli. Located in Holmes Beach, Scott’s features some of the best sandwiches you may ever taste in your life. They’re mouthwatering combinations of meats, vegetables and condiments that slowly ooze out of the sides causing you to just have to lick your fingers.
Handcrafted Sandwiches
You can order one of his master creations on the menu or even create your own – whatever you want to do, they’re all handcrafted sandwiches made to order. Scott Mason, the owner of Scott’s Deli (kind of obvious), and his mom have gone over the moon to create delectable sandwiches that, on their own merit, are to die for, but when you have them delivered to your beach chair on Anna Maria Island, it’s almost life altering – at least taking you to another universe. Isn’t that what vacation is all about?
One of the most popular treats is the Chicken Banh Mi Wrap – think buffalo chicken, pickled carrots and red onions, cucumber, cilantro, spicy Asian cream sauce, in a spinach wrap (we had you at buffalo chicken, huh!). Another favorite is to create your own sandwich with the things you love. He has lots of breads to choose from – even gluten free – and tons of meats, toppings and sauces or condiments. Then you can pick out your favorite bag of chips and get an ice cold beverage. What could be a better picnic on the beach!
For you early risers, Scott’s Deli is open for breakfast too. Just like lunch, he makes the best breakfast sandwiches on the island too! He has genius combinations that go perfectly with an egg or he creates what you want on your own breakfast delight.

Scott’s Deli is open every day between 9am and 4pm (Monday – Wednesday) and 8:30am and 4pm (Thursday – Sunday). Delivery is an option on Anna Maria Island as long as it’s north of Cortez Road. Just call up at (941) 778-3000, place your order and keep a look out for the delivery people with the bag of sandwiches wearing bright colored shirts. If you choose to take a break from the beach, they have a nice little set up outside their deli where you can sit, eat breakfast or lunch and people watch.
Oh — one quick thing about eating on the beach; not only do people love a good sandwich from Scott’s Deli, the resident gulls think Scott’s has the best sandwiches on Anna Maria Island so keep your food close to you – maybe even sit under an umbrella.
